Above Richmond?????
Where exactly? Is it like hovering, if so, does it stay in one place or does one have to check on its current location? How do ya get to it? Long, uphill, switchback road? Stairs? Elevator? Rope ladder?
They best make sure its level, wherever it is, cuz otherwise stuff is liable to fall out when they have grand opening and being above a metropolitan area like Richmond someone is apt to get hurt.

95 & Lewistown Rd. That’s one exit north of the Atlee exit you take to go to Greentop.
I just read last week the grand opening wasn’t until Oct. 2. I’ve gotta check this out. I hope they have a good selection of tying materials.

That must be one of the bigger stores. We don't rate that down here in po-folks land.

I talked to a guy who lives right up there. He said they have a bar & grill in the bass pro that has a 10' x 30' saltwater tank behind the bar.
I'll probably drop by but I just don't get why the outdoor shops thought it would be good to have Green Top, Gander Mt, and Bass Pro all within 2 miles of each other.
My prediction: Bass pro succeeds, Green Top stays in business, Gander Mountain is out of business in a year.

I think its the same reason car lots group together. make the trip worth while and hit all three!:D

They all three have excellent locations & there's a flood of traffic up & down I-95 24/7, but it does seem like a lot of first class sporting footage. Your prediction may be right. Green Top has generations of loyal customers and (most likely) a low-cost location, and BP is a big gorilla.

Welp, as soon as I saw this posting I jumped into the truck and humped hinny up there. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!, pack your lunch and be prepared to be over whelmed. Geeze soonie, that is the biggest momma jamma sporting goods store in the universe. It’s even bigger than the alien spacecraft in the X-Files movie. And yes shoer, I do believe it can hover as well. It’s like their master catalogue on steroids. I realize I have a rather limited set of experiences, but I was impressed. I have a case of the vapors, let me go catch my breath.

The VAPORS?????????
I'm just gonna leave that alone, commenting can only deteriorate an already stressful relationship between me and IBNFSHN. Now he accused me of calling him names when all I said is he's older than dirt. I really feel persecuted against lately, cant call an oldtimer old, cant call Dick a Richard anymore. Site's goin downhill like a doughnut rolling toward hell.
Do tell more about the new BPS Oyster. I had the good fortune to have one built in Katy Mills Mall 3 miles from my doorstep in TX, mid-90's. It was bigger than the one in Hampton, had an indoor archery & firearm range, Orvis fly shop, snack bar-no restaurant/bar, electronic firing range, bigger tank. For Grand Opening they had alotta big name fishin celebs doing seminars for several days, Nascar represented, nekked dancing girls.
Ok, I made up the part about the girls.
Actually when the mall was built BPS was the "anchor store" of the mall. Understand that up in Irving, TX, near Dallas, same thing happened when Grapevine Mills Mall was built. Does this one stand by itself or is it incorporated into a larger concern?
