I know these aren't Corker class fish but they were still fun tonight. I may never post another pic if the bar is drawn at 16.5"!!!!!
Snuck out of work early, again, to get a couple hours of fishing in before dark. Stopped for minnows and all I had was a trash can liner the maintenance guy from the office gave me. Worked fine (been there, done that). Tie the top of the bag shut and you are good to go! Rush home, change clothes, slide the canoe in the truck, grab a few rods and 5 minutes later I'm sliding it in at the honey hole.
It was a good idea as the big fish were biting and I caught a lot of quality fish. I had a 13", a couple of 12" and several more around 11". Another 10 or so below that but all were keeper class fish. Here's a few snaps:

Some nice lookin fish wasabi.Glad you got to get out.
Hey nice fish Wasabi!
I've gotta admit, I did a double take at the title of this thread, bearing in mind recent restrictions on our verbiage.
I'm planning on posting some sub-16" fish myself. (as soon as I catch some)
Do gooder since April 26, 2009!
Quack, where have you been, Bill explained it. Its ok when used as a noun but taboo if used as an adjective. Therefore, it is ok to Call Dick Dick, but put a before calling him that second Dick and you are in violation.
Seeing how Wasabi used Dick in the title but then went on to say "Corkers fish" I think it is obvious to all that Wasabi has mixed feelings about anyone hauling a 16.5 incher in to a bash weigh-in.
I understand, Wasabi, and agree with you completely. Nicely put, man.

I'm really starting to dislike you monkey kissers who actually go out and catch fish.
Don't you care at all about the feeling of the rest of us?

Good thing he put the words to the phrase "Dicks big fish" in proper sequence.

Hey, I netted that monster fish. A lesser man might have flubbed it at such a critical juncture. Years of experience of being the #2 man allowed me to shine once again :D
Glad I could help
Yes, Corkie, there were many unmentionable words on the water this afternoon! A bass fisherman on the other side of the lake did not appear to be catching many fish. I happened to look over just as he snagged a tree and watched him fight to pull it loose. His lure popped free and it and all his loose line flew back at him and he became tangled in it. He cursed, flung his rod down in the boat started kicking things around. I heard empty bottles being kicked around so he probably had drank a few. Something flew outof the boat and sank into the water, something he didn't seem to enjoy losing. It was awkward witnessing his little fishing tantrum. He kept it going even as he pulled his dingy ashore, grunting, cursing, banging stuff around. Then I caught another fish and forgot about him.
