Some Crappie we caught at Northwestern last Saturday contained

" SIZE REALLY DOES MATTER"
I've caught a few around here with those in them.. but it was the exception not the norm...
I just use them to floss with after I eat the fish.![]()

i have seen almost the same worms in smallmouth last year in the upper james river around bunea vista but they were more white in color.
Never take the advice of someone who has not had your kind of trouble!
Man I bet you could catch trout with that! Put it on a hook and see what it does.
.
Me too. More of the whites worms than the red usually.Originally Posted by spec2ring
Where do you fish up there. I fish from just above Westveco down to Winginia, but mostly between Allen's Creek and Bent Creek.

Great. those are from Northwest?
I have seen a few here and there lately.
I found a couple in the bottom of the bowl after soaking the fillets overnight.
Currently a non-fishing slacker! (not for too much longer)
I think I'll just stick to catching my crappie from Norfolk's water supple lakes and stay away from those tidal bodies of water.
