Default Team Horseman-Panshoer getting ready for bash

    Jeff,

I'll bring the bait. You bring the rocks, string, and matches. We'll blow the competition away at the bash.:D

I wonder if Western Branch has a tsunami warning system in place?
I kinda feel bad cuz I think Dusty is gonna be there in his canoe and I picture Janice with her ears straight up in the air and eyes the size of tennis balls when she sees the wall of water coming.

Got yur PM and got it covered.

Special day for me today. I do my last dose of Interferon today. Was on it Nov 05-May 06 and it didn't work so went back on for a full year last Oct.
It has a hefty half-life so takes a cpl months to leave ones system but looking forward to getting feelin back to normal by Xmas. Stuff leaves ya feelin sick to yur stomach & lethargic. Alot of cancer patients who have done both chemo & Interferon feel the latter is worse of the 2 and my experience also. I can go back to being Supershoer now.:D

    Shoer:

You're an inspiration to all of us. I've never met someone with such affinity for having a good laugh and chuckle while coping with a hand that most might fold and leave the table. I guess that needle doesn't hurt as much as a horse's hoof upside the love tackle.

Congrats on finishing the meds Jeff.
But if you think we're gonna cut you some sympathy slack on bash day you've got another thing comin'! j/k

    Hey Keith,
Watch out for Jeff. He's been real busy pickling and canning all sorts of things. There's no telling what he'll bring with him!

I'm sure whatever he brings will work if my special bait doesn't.

Way to go Jeff. I know it was a great day for us when Erik finished his chemo. I also think those smoked eggs have magic curative powers. Good luck at the bash and when they start hitting in the Appomattox, you have to come up again and make up for last year.

    Jeff,

I've seen what you do when you are on that stuff. I don't think I wanna be around when it gets out of your system. I'll bet as a little boy, you gave new meaning to "He!! on wheels"
Please, oh please get me back now before the "supershoer" returns! :D

Seriously, you are an inspiration to those around you, more than you know. Thank you for that.

Gee I wasn't expecting all that but thanks all!!
It ain't all as heroic as ya make it sound, just come up faced with it and do what ya gotta do to try rebound. Anyone else, and many have, done the same. Plus other than have a tumor removed 5 yrs ago I really haven't been down that road alot of folks are faced with of surgery after surgery, a life of constant pain/illness. I still say if ya think its bad take a walk thru the childrens ward for cancer patients, or the spinal cord unit anywhere.

Crappie.com, everything about it but particularly our forum and those who come on it has been the #1 therapy for me since I got on it, I am sure to the dismay of some.:D I know I post alot, alot of OT BS, and get long in my posts
but I am just occupying my mind. I am not involved on any other sites this is it. I always feel, in a respectful way, if ya read enuf of my crap to hate me
then simply save yurself the effort of clickin in.:D

Ya all git yur $ together for Sat. now, Shoers' horses need shoes.

Keith, will we be stopping by the usual establishment on the way back?
