Thread: To delete or not to delete

That is the question. Its not always an easy decision and I enjoy a good racy picture just as much as the next person. So in doing my job as moderator I ask myself would I like to explain that word, statement or picture to one of my grandkids? If the answer is no, then its gone. Of course personal attacks are zapped as soon as they are seen. The owner (Edhead) wants this to be a family forum and its my job to keep the Virginia board that way. So if you find a post deleted, do not take it personal. We have a great bunch of people here and it is very rare that I have to do any moderating and when I have had to, most of it has been border line and I have to make a judgment call.

Bill, you all know I'm mostly just a smart- adz, but I really mean it when I say I think you do a great job.
It's up to us as posters to try not to cross the fine line. Keep up the good work

Bill, Point well taken, sometimes we do things without thinking about how it will effect others. As a moderator you made a good decision. We all appericate your effort and time that you spend as a moderator.

We all love ya Bill. I try only get close but if I go too far I will feel bad I caused ya to have to do anything. You do great and not everyone would want to have the responsibilty of keeping an eye on the flow of the board.

Indeed a thankless job for sure - I am a moderator at 3 of the major saltwater forums, one with 40,000+ members. I know what you mean Bill man. You got a quiet little town here sherriff !! Good work Sir.

All folks on the VA board respect your judgment....You do a great job...Doris has even started to look for Shoers post every morning.....You have a thankless job and I appreciate you taking your time to keep us straight...

In a previous post I said nipples. For now on I will say highbeams. Again, I apologize to the grandkids and all small wonderful people.
