Thread: Missed bash BAD FRIDAY

Well the stercat and I snuck up to do a little bash prefish on friday to see what we were getting into and found some fish on a pile at the mouth of 2nd or 3rd creek on the right not sure but we could see the ramp. We caught 5 or 6 quick and deceided to leave it alone and save it for the bash since it was so close to the ramp. We were heading back to the ramp thinking our chances were good for sat when the trolling motor got real loud and then real quiet and then belched a bit of smoke. Long story short-7 bass,5 hammerhandles,15 crappie,6 perch,1 dead cell phone,1 smoked trolling motor, and finally got the boat loaded about 9:30 not in the best of moods. I really like that place and will go again soon. I hope everyone enjoyed it and from the small turnout I think we should do another either there or someplace else what do you think?

Any size to the crappie ya picked up?
Sorry about the disasters comin off the water. I left my 3rd anchor in the same spot yesterday and when I went to retrieve truck & trlr end of day to load boat noticed license plate hangin cattywampus. Went to straighten it and came away in my hand, mounting bracket rusted out. Tried to get SH to ride in back of Onion facing the back & holding license plate on ride to my place. That sumbeyotch refused.


I made a cpl calls tryin to help ya after I talked to you Friday. Those 4 cabins at Ed Allens near the bait shop are rented out for the yr. Probably got locals in em livin fulltime. At Ed Allens Campground they have cabins that rent out for a 2 night min. for $125 (total 2 nights stay), ya gotta bring yur own linens. I didnt ask about TV, cooking, fridge, etc... Shane if you guys wanna tent camp you are welcome to use my backyard. It is pretty rural. I am about 7 miles from the watering hole at Rockahock. You could use the shower here, bathroom to freshen up/change duds if ya are up here for a 2 day trip. I might even hook ya up with breakfast. I dont get that impression from meetin ya but since I dont know ya I'll just say for the sake of knowing it is said that you are more than welcome and I wish if it applies you would take me up on it. I have a neighbor who is a great dude and does his share of partyin and my ol lady is laid back so anything within reason is no issue as far as hangin out. Aint like ya got to whisper to each other or act like yur in church in the back yard here. Just if ya were to close up Rockahock and come here and fire up yur generator for the strobe lights to dance & scream naked by to the sounds of Who Put Dat Monkee On Yo Back by Snoop Dogg at 3 A.M., I would not shoot to kill but would spray a cpl rounds in the general direction of the disturbance. I know, what a prick, huh?:D

Bring yur butts back up here and guide me onto some slabs. I have obviously been workin too much and neglecting to stay on top of my game on Diascund when the senior citizens start beating up on me.
