How about a fishing report as to what you didn't catch and Pete did. Where is that place?

That about sums it up I'm getting tired of being out-fished by that punk kid:D
We had a great week of fishing. The weather was good all the way until Sat. when it rained on us some. Pete caught the biggest and probably most, including some days when he went past the century mark. His fished dry flies a bunch and did super good.

    Next stop: Montana in Oct.

    Default Sorry Bill

Didn't mean to avoid the "where" question.
It's extreme western N.C., not far from, but not on the Cherokee reservation. We didn't take the time to go visit "Chief Tumbling Dice" but I heard you can blow a bunch of cash over there pretty easy.
We fished 1 big river and 3 pretty small creeks. They are all under delayed harvest regs., which means no bait and only single hook lures. All fish must be released until the first Sat. in June, when regular rules apply.
This keeps the crowd to a minimum and is really good if you like to fly fish. I go out there 3 or more times a year and it's pretty addicting.
The wading is pretty tough at times and I busted my hiney more than once. You also have to be careful not to get washed into a hole and go over your waders. If they fill up and your'e over your head, that pretty much finishes your fishing career From talking to the locals, it happens several times a year.
