Default Northwest River Bash, February 10, 2018

The morning started out pretty nice. It was warm, considering it was February, and that prompted a decent few to show:

Everybody who was playing along threw $5 in the pot. The single, biggest crappie, and single, biggest yellow perch, split the pot:

Looks like a good time. Would have liked to be there but fishing had to wait till Sunday afternoon for me. Youngest son Conner and I found about a dozen specks willing to bite in the Blackwater. Was going to post a pic but apparently I'm not smart enough to get it done. LOL

Out to sea right now. Wish I could have joined Y'all, even in the rain. Congrats to the winners. When I get back my Pops will be in town and we'll head out and catch some. Jim B I guess you'll be headed south before I get back. I'll miss my old boat! I guess I'll miss you also. Be good y'all and save some for me.

Looks like the size of the crappie have increased some. And the yellow perch catch was off with small fish

You are right, Russell, it seems like I have been catching some bigger fish this year.
