    Isn't Great Bridge like area 51, people have heard about it but it really doesn't exist.... Just messing. Not me. Va Beach local 46 years.

    I was raised in Great Bridge 1952 till present. My mother’s family opened a Variety store and a Cookes Hardware store on either side of the bridge in the late 40s

    Yes I met Bill when he did some cabinets for some houses I helped build about 15 years ago. Never saw him in the fishing world.

    Didn't live there but watched a few Great Bridge High School football games in the early 60's....

    This was while I was in the NAVY..
