    Default Northwest river

I was on my way to Indian towne sat and stopped at bob's to see if the river was froze and James said the river was bad fri but it had thawed by sunrise so I decided to try the n/w. instead. Cypress needles were really bad in the water column today. I was shocked at the water temps at 41 degrees. Found the fish in deep holes today and 14 ft was the key. Caught some nice keepers on jigs using mostly blue ice Are we having a crappie/yellow perch bash. The fishing this winter has been really good!!!

I plan on being there. I still think it's to early for the y/p at Indian town. Two more weeks.

Fished 1/24 10 to 2. Focused on long lining in deep water with no luck. Found a few casting BGS to 7-8 feet of water. Ended up with one cat , one small bass, one 13 inch yellow perch and 14 crappie. Half of the crappie were small under 10 inches.
