...I did better. A total of 86 fish; 85 crappie and one white perch that was just shy of a citation. I had about the same number of keepers both days and the largest fish were about the same. I caught a number of smaller ones today. I worked the same area both days. Today, a couple of other boats decided to share the area I was using after they saw my success. Everyone caught fish.
Oh yea, no bass!:D

Keith you using special sauce too!Glad you had a good day!:D
I drove down 606 going toward 198 this morning and as I passed the ramp there was more water right off 606 than I've ever seen there. How far is the lake up Keith?
Going thru West Point the Mattaponi & Pamuncky were about as high as I've seen too.

I did not pay attention to the level. That tells me it is up less than a foot. The water is not muddy, but it is stained as much as I have seen with a surface temp in the low 50s. I think the stain is what is giving me such success with the small spinners.Originally Posted by horseshoer
