    Default Forty-nine

That is the number of fish I caught at Beaverdam today. Forty-eight crappie and one white perch. Around 10-12 of them were 12". They definitely had a preference for gold spinners and prefered #3 willow leaf to a #2 Colorado blade. The first 3 dozen were caught in 20'-22' of water just above the bottom. The last dozen were caught in 15' of water near the ramp while I waited for a canoe to load up.

Here is one of the larger ones I caught:

Nice job PanMan! Beats the shutout I pitched today on the way upper james in Roanoke. Nothin biting but the water was muddy and the scenery was tops. Great day to be outside instead of stuck inside with the in-laws

Very nice work! They like those spinners I guess!
