All right. Who put up the tree today or are you going to do it tommorrow? I'm calling you out. Done seen some lights . Been up for a week all ready. They ain't mine either. Mine won't go up for a couple more weeks. You might call me a scrooge but I call it normal! CF

Don't cancel Xmas. Atleast you have some things. I had once drank myself into a situation whereby I had no things. I had to borrow a bow saw and somebody's nice little cedar tree growing in the road ditch at the end of the driveway. We bought a string od Dollar Store lights and strung popcorn for decorations. We were so poor I considered eating the decorations a couple times. Lived in a motel with a cooler for a fridge and an electric skillet we had picked up for $2 at a yard sale. The skillet had a short and everytime I went to make Skillet Supper the damn thing electrocuted me. Of course the 1/2 gal of whiskey/day took the edge of that somewhat.
Aaaahh- the old days. Thank God they are gone & may they never return.
You can come share our tree at Xmas if you want. It goes up a cpl wks before. Or borrow the bow saw.:D

    Thumbs up

there's one laying on the riverbank on the way to one of my honey holes that i've been eyeing . it would make a good crappie condo, if i can find enough bricks to sink it. it's supposed to be warm and sunny today, so maybe tomorrow morning the tree will no longer be laying on the bank. think i should decorate it before i sink it? lol everybody

Wife and kids got ours up this evening (Fri). Looks good. Thank God for pre-lit trees. I never liked stringing the lights. Good times going thru the ornaments. Most every one holds a good memory. The kids were soooooo happy that she agreed to do put it up.

Also, my son (5) let me take off his training wheels today. Away he went. Of course, he now asked why I didn't take them off sooner!

Had a nice day today. Hope all of you enjoy the pretty weekend.
