and all thru the house was the smell of punkin pie cookin. Boudreaux certainly is in the spirit of the day, I let him lick the bowl out I mixed the pie filling in and already had to give thanks that I had a billy club & didn't have to have my arm reattached when I went to get the bowl back. You always know where you stand with him but he sure takes the fun out of baking in the nude.
Made that ol standby cranberry-orange relish I hated as a kid but now look forward to. Bag of cranberries & 1 orange, seeded, run thru the grinder and 3/4-1 cup sugar .
Sure hope I get to see John Madden get one of his 12-legged turkeys hauled out of the oven of the Maddencruiser into the stadium today. I love that dude and that has become a Thanksgiving icon to me.
