    Default OT: Don't Forget........

...to have that turkey thawing. Nothing worse than having to employ a jackhammer to get that bag o' giblets out and then eviscerate a frozen carcass.

What's everyone doing for Thanksgiving and how ya doing the turkey if that's what your having?

The Wicked Witch took on a job which has her wrapped up from 1-6 tomorrow
so we will have our supper after she gets back. I got a 6 lb turkey breast and going to inject it with Baja Chipotle & Lime marinade, rub some Cajun seasoning on it, do it in the oven.

Happy & safe Thanksgiving to all.

Probably will get stuffed and loaf on the couch. ohhh. you mean the Turkey. :D Turkey Breast here also. I plan on mixing up some sort of brew and injecting it til it can't hold anymore. Looking forward to some sweet taters as my wife doesn't like 'em so I never get to eat 'em.

I'm tempted to cook the breast on the grill but most likely will throw it in the oven.

Hope everyone has a good one. Be safe if you're driving anywhere. It's not ideal driving conditions out there to say the least!

    Default turkeyday

Hope everyone has a filling gobbler on thursday. We're off to the Star City to see my in-laws. My aunt-in-law has the turkey responsibilities and I heard there's either a pork loin or ham, green beans, mac-n-queso, mashed taters, sweet potatoes, dressing, broccoli-rice casserole, corn and rolls. Sweet tea is my beverage of choice to cleanse the palette. My mo-in-law is handling desserts and I hope she makes a lush (chocolate, pudding, whipped cream, nuts, crumb crust) but I'm sure she's making 3-4 pies of the pumpkin and karo nut kind.
After I sleep all day friday form my triptophan nap I'm on the water solo for Saturday as my wife's present to me for my b-day. Pics will follow. Have a safe journey and return to all of ya and a very happy thanksgiving.

My wife and oldest son are leaving for England this afternoon. He is going over to play soccer this weekend.

The younger son and I are staying home. I plan to cook a small ham and a turkey breat for us tomorrow. There will also be stuffing, veggies, and pumkin pie for desert.

We'll have 50 plus @ my sister's house @ Back Bay. Too much food, and all of it good. As a bonus, Pete will be bringing about 5 Chinese folks and this will be their first Thanksgiving. I asked Pete if he was gonna cook a cat

    Default Ouch

Just got away from the table bout an hour ago. I truly hope I am not alone in my misery of having hurt myself eating too much. Feel like a fat snake now.
