    Default Prince Sat.

Nothing special. 2 crappie 1 bass. Jerry forgot the minnows, My daughter was cold, and we only had till noon. Well I think that was enough excuses.:D Most of the brush had vacancy signs. We did fish the bridges but only caught the 2. 1 was 12 1/2" and just over a pound. N.W. here I come. I think I'll be there till spring. Except a trip or 2 to Kerr. Usually I'm dedicated to that river from Nov.-Mar.

I think that may have been it. That and the no minnows. I know you usually don't need them but this time a year I try not to leave home without them. We saw 4 other boats out there and they didn't seem to be catching, Just fishing.

Atleast you got out there Justin. Seems like everything reported but the river was a bust.
After riding a tractor with no cab planting wheat for 7 hrs until the rain came today I had my 1st thought of my fishing prowess slowing down some next few months or the Onion is getting a heater installed, something gotta give.

That is a nice heater. I wqas looking at some at walmart this evening. I want to get something for my boat also. My boss got one from Northern Tool for his boat. But his boat is a bit bigger than ours. He fishes the bay a lot. Wants me to take him in the inlets for speckles.I don't know about that salt on my boat.

That's a good idea, I had the same thought. I'm afraid it would be the undoing of me. If I fix her up that nice I know darn well Boudreaux & I are going to be living on her. Which is ok in itself but he would end up spending alot of time out on the deck in all sorts of weather once word was out that I had a boat I lived on and was dragging an endless procession of marina maids
    into my cuddy cabin.

Pops just bought one last year for ice fishing. He likes it and it even has a carbon monoxcide detector.
