Default The PanMan Insisted On Bass Fishing Today

I thought it was understood between us that this was a crappie fishing outting but leave it to Keith to have his own agenda. I caught 1 (one)
dink crappie all day. He caught several. Then I guess since all we were catching was dinks and that was very slow also, unbeknownst to me he went on the Bassmasters Classic. After landing 2 hefty bucketmouths I noticed he was wiping his jig all around in a bottle of something.

Now I normally wouldn't rat someone out like this but if you are going to sit in the Onion and do this I gotta tell.

    Whattaya think it was??????
    Yum?.........................................no
    Bang?.....................nope
Uncle Poteets Blood & Cheese Bait?......................nothing that basic.

    Get a load of this.
I mean brace yourself, be ready now....................

    ........LUNKER SAUCE.

What the................ I got so upset I went ahead and caught me a small gr carp just to not be left out.

Seriously, it was a terrible crappie catchin day but I enjoyed the company and it was fun fishin with PanMan. Keith thanks for the company & conversation man, would do it again in a heartbeat.

Geez. Turns off in the North and turns on in the South. Well at least you guys got some pullage and made the best of the day.
Sometimes you have to adapt and overcome! :D

That's a nice LMB PanMan. The Lunker Sauce must have been working!

Panman Vandam! I love that. And I picture the captain doing an Ike imitation when you caught yours! I bet you guys were the talk of the lake.

It was a pretty day. Glad you got out.

Funny, I caught a 3lb 6oz bass at that very same bridge yesterday, was this the same one? I almost always catch bass at that bridge, always 10' down, but don't tell the bass fishermen, we don't want them getting in the way of us crappie fishermen.

The company was good and it was great to get home and not have to put my boat away. I don't see what all the hype about Diascund is about. The green carp would not leave me alone long enough to catch a crappie.

I use crappie nibbles in The Bait Pump and add some threadfin shad scented Lunker Sauce to make it less viscous and easier to inject in the tube jig. The crappie seem to like it and, apparently, the bass love it.

It has been a while since I did mostly cast and retrieve during a fishing trip. It was good to see that the rust is not as thick as I thought it would be.

I'm going to have to go there again and mark some of the brush we saw on the depth finder!
