Slow day at Diascunds, 11-18-06
I had a minnow in the water 30 minutes before sunrise, didn't matter much. Caught 21 crappie of which most were dinks. Biggest was 12.5", weighed in at 1lb 0.25oz. Did catch a 3lb 6oz largemouth. Crappie weren't much interested in my minnows, they made me work really hard, had to go under the second bridge and vertical jig. Is the crappie feast under the bridges over?

The bridges are fickle Tap, hit or miss. There are times that it is like a switch going on & off. I try not to sit on em too long and go try some other likely looking spots and come back to them later.
