    Default Who Knows

Ron, my fishing partner, told me this morning that he read in the Norfolk paper yesterday in the Sports section under Fishing Report that the small Rock fish would now be starting to come up the Blackwater and Nottoway rivers this month. We have always found them late Feburary and early March in the rivers. Anyone know why they would be coming up the rivers in November.

I'm with you Andy. I have caught a few in late December and January in the N.W. with the best showing in late January-February. This year I have caught 2 in Blackwater along with that flounder. But I have been fishing it a bunch. So maybe it'll be an early year for them bt I don't really think so.

Thanks JD We have often heard of someone catching a Rock now and then and I think you probably could find a stray at anytime of the year if you fished hard. Maybe the fellow who wrote the article does not fish the rivers and just needed to add something to his article to make it long enough to suite the editor. :D

On the contrary Andy, I email Lee all the time with fishing stories. Though I never give a location. That was my name and my friends in the paper yeasterday. he told me that his fishing report was much larger with 8 more names that were supposed to be in there but the editor hacked it up. As for his striper prediction, I think he was a little off but I guess I'll have to ask him who told him the lie. :D

Default I know where that is

But can you fish there from the docks or do you have to scurry there in your vessel?

I cant really go into it because of being scoldly recently for not following board rules. I was under the impression that they share info in Miss. they dont! nor do they want out of staters on "their" water. Hop over to the ole miss page some time and see for yourself. I should remove it and just "LIGHTEN UP" on them. Thanks JD
