Thread: Diascund Friday

My friend Jerry and I got up there around 0700 or so and stayed till dark. Some what an uneventful day but not to bad. Never been before so I wanted to see more than just the bridges. Caught a 2lb 8 oz Green carp, crappie triplets that were all 13 1/2" and 1lb 5oz. and 2 other 10" and 10 1/2". At least Jerry got his biggest. 5 fish for an all day trip but plenty of little ones. I'll get up there earlier next year. I'll post pics later I hope.

The bridges there are fickle, no, actually the fish are. You gotta be the ice cream man, try cones, push-ups & dixie cups, vanilla & raspberry & chocolate too.
And catch em when they're passin by. :D

I'll try that next time. Are there striper in that lake? We saw so much 3"-4" shad schools it was unbelievable. If I had my cast net I could have got a 100 per throw guaranteed. Casted through some just to see and turned up 2 small LMB.
