    Default Bash At Kerr Results

Everyone being present and accounted for at 7:00am. We all shot the bull and check out each others live wells till about 7:20. Bill fired the cannon and away we all went going to each HONEY HOLE. About 3:30pm most all boats except one were back at the Bait Shop. Dave and Fishdoc had a bucket full of fish with one going 1lb even. Daytons' partner Mike (I hope that's wright) went to the boat and came back with a 1lb 7.4oz Black Crappie. Nice fish. Last boat came in without one to be weighted. Billy 2 made the trip down from South Boston just to meet those he'd never met before and I myself was glad to meet him and say hello. Great Day. I was the first to leave just after 4pm. Maybe some of the others will add to this. I think we had 7 boats. We had 3 about 3/4lb and a total of 18 keepers. I really liked the idea of having your own choice where to fish.

We had a great day. Good to see you guys again and to meet some new folks. We caught 45 fish. Mostly on minnows under corks. Fishing brush in about 20' of water. Catching fish about 12' down. Main lake pockets. We didn't even try any shallow water. Mike was fishing a plain gold hook with a split shot above it. Under my cork, I was fishing a 1/16 orange jig head tipped with a minnow, a split shot about 8" above it, then a plain gold hook about 10" above that, tipped with a minnow. Caught fish on both. Finally broke off the orange head and tied on a yellow/chart that I had laying out. Never caught another fish on the jig head. Figures!

Yea, we got lucky with two nice fish. Mike caught them both. The biggest was 1.76 on the BIBT scale so that is 1 lb 12 oz. Mikes biggest ever. His second big fish was 1.4 lb on PanMan's scale (small Berkley that exactly matched the BIBT certified scale).

Awfully nice day for the middle of November! I was definitly a great day to skip hunting and catch fish.

Thanks everyone. I will try to upload a pic in a little while.

Good report and congrats to the winner.
Andy, for future reference, all the cows were standing but 2 out of 39 but almost all the calves were laying.
I am a country boy but this is your dept (and SH, he knows about a clause involving daylight savings time), I just give the up/down report.

Glad everyone had a pretty good time a Kerr. Wish I could have been there. On the bright side my son's soccer team I coach won 6-2 at the last game.
