Don't think I told anyone but I tied my best at 1lb 8oz in Blackwater last Saturday. He was about 131/2" long and I let him go. This is no big deal for Diascund goers these days but quite a feat for us tidewater dwellers.Water was down almost 4 feet. This was the only keeper caught that day. Also caught a 10in or so flounder.
Not unheard of for blackwater or the Northwest but a first for me. Someone sure had a sense of humor that day.
Included also are some pics of my son about 2 weeks ago the night Joe fell in the water while striper fishing.

I caught a 10" puppy drum at West Neck a couple years ago in January, we kinda stared at each other dumbfounded, before I threw him back. That was the only thing I caught all day.
1lb 8oz is a nice crappie no matter where you caught it, nic job. On a handicaping scale thats equal to a 3lber at Diascunds. :D

Nice fish no matter where. Got your PM fixin to reply. Saw it this morn but had to split for work. Was up most of the night partyin with Boudreaux,
watching election results. We ate way too many Rice Chex and then got into this long drawn out discussion about Proposition 1 same sex marriage. We never did figure out if we are narrow-minded hypocritical rednecks with double standards or not. We are both utterly disgusted with idea of 2 dudes together but feel it is perfectly acceptable for 2 women so long as we can participate and even welcome such behavior and find it a turn on.
Boudreaux didn't like it a bit when I told him that in such a situation he falls back to being Mans 3rd Best Friend.
