I am going to put this on here hoping it is no secret you asked about
Diascunds by PM. Besides, this is only directions there (thought others may want to copy it for future use), not the detailed directions to & descriptions of my Holy Hot Spots which I received your payment for Tues by the way. Thank you.
Coming from your way JD on I-64 West, take exit 231A. (Toano, Norge)
The off ramp will curve around and you will merge onto Croaker Rd, go 1/2 m
to the light and hang a right there. (hwy 30 North) Go 2-1/2 m to the light and continue straight thru it. You are at Andersons Corner and now on hwy 60. From there the turn off to Diascund is about 3 miles, it is marked and will be a right turn. When you see Patsys on the left get ready you are 1/2 m away. If you don't turn and continue straight for 1 mile Stewarts Grocery is on the left. Bright blue bldg w/gas pumps. Opens 6 AM Mon-Sat, 7 AM on Sun. Crappie minnows .99/doz. 804-966-5604.
When you turn off hwy 60 to go to the ramp you will go 1/4 m and come to a stop sign. A dogleg there. Take a right at stop sign and immediate left and you will see ramp/parking 100 yds on right.
Anyone who tells you to take exit 227 off I-64 coming from Va Beach direction to go to Diascund doesn't know the right way. That is the 1st West Point exit and adds needless miles to the trip.
Good luck. I hope you catch a big one I know you paid your dues.
I still have a John Deere decal for ya.

Just thought this would be a good place to let ya all know that I gave Jeff's place a break today and got a ride on Chick Lake. I was told to bring tubes and sliders and leave the minnows at Headhunters.......... launched at Eagles Landing, headed to the right maybe a mile, past way too many duck blinds to remember where, but got into some pretty fair crappie tossing blk/chatuse tubes with a 1/16 head. When the wind layed down, was tossing a bobber with a jug about 3 feet under it. Did well and was back at the landing by 4:00pm. Stop by the shop and see the pics, took lots but am underdeveloped in trying to post them here. See all at Jeffs spot on Friday afternoon. Charlies Back !

It keeps ya all congregated over that a way so I can get out to my sweet spot undetected. I am getting a little sick of hauling a few of my 14-15"ers over there to the bridges and turning them loose so you'll keep going back,
but its worth the hassle in the long run.
Good report Perry. Did Pabst get to fire his boom-boom?

I see you & Pabst got your picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone. May I post it for you since you have trouble posting pics?

Sure, why not, I'm kinda ahead of that era a bit, but I remember SE Asia in the mid 60's, Free Love, and smokin that wonderful rope while sittin in the mountains of South VN. My beard isn't quite long enough........albeit, YET, but I will some day. Enjoyed meetin a couple more guys at Diascund and shared a space awhile. Didn't kill em, but numbers and sizes were respectable for awhile, the old boy upstairs sure does bless us with some beautiful days. Get back and let me know about the BPS/Hooters run, I can get ****faced as well as the next old guy.

Charlie said it rained the whole time he was gone and never got a shot.

Didn't do badly on friday, but as anyone over 60 will tell ya, "It's just great waking up to sunshine", tried both bridges and caught a few at each, mostly dinks, but I also have a friend that eats "everything", ended up with 2 catfish and 2 LMB and the 9 slabs, you saw the biggest (13.5), you caught the smallest I ever saw there, but I caught a yellow perch that had to measure out at about 3". Great meeting you guys, come see us again, we going green carp fishing tomorrow in the coves....
