Late October early November it is. :DOriginally Posted by Andy Clayton
After engin problems we were able to get away from the ramp about 8:30. Ran down to lower Butchers and over to Pan Handle. Fished brush in 18 to 15 foot of water. It sure was hard to get a bite at first. About 11:00 back in Butchers things began to pick up but could not fine any size no matter where we went. Caught about 80 some and the only ones we keep were those bleeding from the hook down too deep. Still early and I think things still have to cool down some more.

Sorry to hear you had trouble on top of the small fish.
I think you're right JD. Late October. At least I hope so. Looks like I'll be there 20-22 and 27-29 too! :D

I really should have brought a lottery ticket Saturday on my way home. Had gas going all over the motor Sat. morning. Engine sucking air. The manual chock had a crack in it. Ended up putting the boat back on the trailer and going into Clarksville. Not a whole lot of places to look for a part off of an 93 Evenrude. Second place I went to was a brand new Boat Marina which sits on the cornor of 58 business and the new 58 by-pass. I wouldn't think a new store would have much stock in engine parts. Told the gentelman what I needed and he said " you mean the red knob, I have one of them." You never saw two bigger smilies:D then on Ron's and my face. Took about 1 and 1/2 minutes to change out. Lost only one hour on the water. Should have got me that lottery ticket.
