JD I know what you mean about trying to read that post. I can picture myself being on a boat with Horseshoer or The Squirrel Hunter and I hook into a "State Record" crappie. While fighting this State Record, they ask me to hand them the rod so "they can catch the fish".:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: I think I would have to be a might big dumb a-- to hand them over the rod. Maybe this is why Carl Herring likes to fish by himself.

Andy, I see absolutely nothing wrong with imagining that. I have hooked countless new state records, but they all got off before I could even see them. Well anyway, no one can prove they wasn't.

IBNFSHN I know how it feels . I have lost several state records myself in the past years. Bad knots, weak line, the list goes on and on. You know I had a "vision" the other night that I won the BASH. Now that would be almost as good as catching a State Record. Of course I'll probably give my winnings away to the first one who asks for it.:D
