    Default Rudds creek

FYI: A green carp fisherman told me today that there is a federation tournament out of Rudds creek this weekend. I told him be ready for a bunch of boats with a dozen rods hanging out.

fished rudds sun. there is a lot of crappie in some big schools usin the areas around brush piles above bridge and b 4 ya get to old R.R. tressle on the butchers cr side. we'd mark a pile with a bouy and start fishin the brush, then start markin schools of crappie out where we were castin from. drop a jig and POW! they'd knock the fire out of it. good average size, 10-11 in. hope y'all can get on some of'em!

I will try the Clarksville area's first when I get there but I will visit the place you described as well as the bridges there. I still remember a few good spots. How will I do it all in 2 days?

You know, Crex, maybe it's my imagination, but those bassboat drivers always seem a bit more courteous out there in Buggs than back here in NW etc. Maybe it's because they actually catch bass at Buggs instead of just driving all day like at NW. haha

For the most part. I do see them fly though the no wake zones under the bridge at times. I don't get it. I am out there nearly all day and have time to slow down for that and other fisherman. Maybe they are on a time crunch?
