There isn't actually one on North River. Some people put in at Currituck and run up there (long run) and a lot of us put in at the bridge at Indian Town Creek and go out. Its nothing fancy (no pier and no parking lot) but you can put a pretty good size boat in there and park along side the road.

ibnfsn, fishing currituck many yrs ago, guy took me to north river, we put in at a private ramp behind a motel, ran short ways out a canal to river...you know any thing bout it? can't member what road it was on..he knew lady that ran motel..probably long gone by now.

There is a 3rd ramp on down the road from indian town. I've only put in there once because the creek going out is real mean. A lot of underwater obstacles. I don't remember a motel being there. I just checked my map and it shows another one south of Currituck on rt 158. I suspect thats the one you are talking about since it is a major road and most likely would have a motel there.
