    Default Bugss bash pics


    A few of the fellas got together at buggs today for a bit of pullage and i think everybody had a good time. It was hot in the low 90's with a good steady breeze all day. Percidae and my self fished Rudds Creek with pretty good luck considering we don't know much about Buggs ......8 crappie , 4 green carp .... fish were in 17'/ 22' fow and holding around 10 ' / 12' bite was very light and stopped around 2o'clock for us . Fishdocs partner walked the dog with a 1#5oz I belive it was and Ithink just about eveybody caught Crappie , I had a good time meeting the new guys and the day was an over all sucess...... and by the way panman thanks for tates waypoint.

    It was good seeing everyone. I fished Grassy and although I managed 43 crappie only two of them were just over 11". Most were 9"-10" and caught with a chartreuse wasshoppah tipped with a minnow 13'-17 down over brush or this one rock pile I found.



    On the way out I scanned a set of pylons and did not mark any fish. On the way back the first set I scanned was empty but the second set had a few of which I caught one of them.



    Here's my monster for the day.



    The breeze kept it cool on the water and the suface water temp was 80-81.

    Looks like ya all had a good time. Thats a feisty lookin winner there.
    Shellquacker aint gonna be denied. He's going home with sumthin to eat outta the deal.
    Doc is getting more handsome with age. Before long he's gonna catch up and be as pretty as me.

    Now where do I collect for coordinating that?:p

    I'm glad those who attended had a good time and the waypoints I shared helped fellow fishermen. That is what a bash and these forums are all about.


    I would have been there but I lack the endurance to fish a full day with a 3 hour drive on each end right now.
