    Default Hey Guys

For a laugh, go over to the S.C. board and check out the "high-falutin" rules they came up with for their crappie bash.
I can see the point in most of the manifesto, but rule #9 is just asking way too much:D
I thought everybody force-fed a split shot or two Sorta like driving 60 in a 55.
Father of 4 time bash winner. At least I'm pretty sure

I've never fished in a "real" tournament, but do they all gut them and check for foreign object? (rule #10)

Why mess with the split shot when you can pre-fish for a few days and
BYODO. (Bring your own dead one) Before anyone jumps me JUST KIDDING.
Who am I to talk when we had to police up all the stones at the boat launch at our Bream Bash last June when Kei.., er, one of our participants pointed out that they are non-metallic and would pass the metal detector.

Look fellows, the way to settle this is the following: DEATH PENALTY You cut the winning fish up; metal detech, visual inspection for non-metal weight enhancers then 10 days later declare the winner. We all know Horseshoer won't come to any event with these rules.:D That gives us one up. All fun aside, there is an article in one of the Bass Mag's about a fellow (I am told) on one of the major pro tours who was caught just this pass fall. He was catching fish when pre-fishing, tieing them with string to stumps then picking them up during the money days. Went to court and got jail time. LOL
