Didn't catch near as many as we have over the last 5 or 6 weeks but we did catch 2 pretty nice ones. The one in the second picture was 14.5 inches (it is twisted in the picture and you can't see how big that baby really is). Overall we caught about 15 fish in 3 hours, all but 4 or 5 were dinks. I'm guessing that the warmer water (46.8 instead of 41 or 42) had the fish spread out instead of jammed up in the usual holes. Naturally, I caught all of the dinks and my son caught the big ones. All on minnows in 12-14 feet.

Those look like some nice ones to me. Water looks awful muddy though.
I hope my little fishing partner holds up with age like yours has!:D
"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them

The water was very muddy. I know what you mean as far as fishing buddies go. My twins are 15 and they still love to fish with me. I don't know how long it's going to last, so I'm enjoying it while I can!

Like I said a couple of weeks ago, I'm having too much fun to go anywhere else. I give most of 'em a little kiss before I throw 'em back, so at least they have something good to remember.![]()

Brad, after I got off the phone with you last night, I told my son about planning a trip. He was all smiles. Told me to go get his practice pole and take that carter key off of it, he said he is ready to be trusted with a hook!
Then I ask him about playing baseball. He said he likes T-ball. So hope we can discuss it while we drown a minnow.
As long as the weather is fit to go, we are in for Sunday.

Great. Both of my 15 year olds will be going so we'll need to take 2 boats. It will be cool see your young'un catch a slab.

brad, never fished where you're at, but been in same situation..when they move off bridge go to first couple creek mouths that are up stream of bridge. i usually find them suspended here less than 5', sometimes only a foot in that color water. hope this helps when they all leave bridge.
