    Default Butchers or Grassy????

With all the good reports from FISHDOC and Dave I'm thinking about going up the lake either Saturday or Sunday. FISHDOC, it sounds like your best success is over in Grassy. Are you or Dave hearing of anything on the bite over in Butchers/Rudds.?? Panman, you still thinking about going also.

My bosses are tired of approving my requests for comp time every week since I currently can accrue no more leave without approvals. We all thought it would be a good idea for me to take tomorrow off and burn a little leave.:D

I plan to try Grassy tomorrow. I may return to Grassy or try Buffalo on Sunday. That should sufficiently relax me before I travel to Florida next week for a fun filled week of dark-to-dark meetings.

PANMAN if you get back tomorrow and feel like it let us know how you do.:D If you do good I'll probably go up Sat.. If not, will probably wait till Sunday hoping the water might go up a degree or two . Squirrel Hunter !!! Just a thought. If you want to pull the USS Dave Chaser up the lake let me know and we could meet on Rt 58 here in Holland and spend the day on the water together with both boats. If there were a problem (we hope not) you would have someone there to help out. Of course we would have to blind fold both you and who ever you had on the "ship" so you couldn't find Dave's Honey Holes again.:D

Good luck guys. Hope you get into them. Don't forget to check some really shallow stuff. I talked to someone yesterday, who was out dropping brush (at Buggs) earlier in the week. He found some fish right on top. Said his temp gauge on the back of the boat (shallow) was reading 3° higher than the temp sensor on the trolling motor. He caught some good fish very shallow. Guess they were enjoying the little warm up. So do me a favor and catch a few for me off of some shoreline stuff. I am taking the family to the beach this weekend.

    Get some pics for us.

Squirrel Hunter we have decided this morning to go up tomorrow, not Sunday. It looks like that front coming thru tomorrow night could shut thinks off a couple of days.
