    Default Northwest Monday

My fear of up and down weather changing the fish in the Northwest was realized yesterday. I don't want to turn anyone off on coming th 28th because things can be great one day and bad the next. However Monday sucked. I caught 2 striper and that's it. I ran into two other guys who were in my other spot and they caught 2 and turned them back because they were small. I'm sure in the next couple weeks it'll pick up for yellows at least. Maybe Brad will teach me how to fish again this weekend.

The fishing in the shallow impoundments around this area is very slow to say the least right now. If I can sneak away from work, I may take you up on your invitation and try either Grassy or Buffalo later this week. I have been to Buffalo twice and have never been to Grassy. If I choose Grassy which is likely since I would like to start learning about it, are there any obstacles I need to be aware of?

You can email me at keith.w.davis@cox.net with details.

Would love to but, I'm in the middle of remodeling the kitchen and both bathrooms and I just got a 10'x14' workshop I'm making into a mans hideout. So though she lets me get out for most of the day when I fish around here, she gives me that you have too much to do look when I say the word Kerr. Besides I'm saving up for Spring.....you know when you get all the stuff done she wants, then when she is happy you cash in.

Does the list ever end and are they ever happy with the progress you are making on the list?

That is sad. Maybe we should pass the hat for Dave. He is going to need gas money, jigs and snacks. Poor Dave.
