The plan is to try the backs of Diascunds coves and cast some slip float rigs
and cast/retrieve some jigs to any fairly shallow stick-ups. If that doesn't produce think I will slow-troll along the channel banks toward the bridges and try to drift or tightline the pilings there.
Glad I'm posting this, it just made me think of not having a license. Will post
afterward with a report.

Also thought I better go because as Andy was so kind to point out, I probably only have so many trips left in my geriatric state.![]()

Jeff I wish I could go with you tomorrow but we went golfing yesterday afternoon:D Don't think fishing tomorrow would look too good on my monthly review stat.
Have a good time and enjoy the day. I know you'll let us know how you do.

Best of luck!
Life's too short to fish with dead minnows!
5 bass, none over 12", all the 7-10" perch you wanted trolling the shallows. the mouth of cove i planned to fish had 2 boats on it and they were picking up some crappie not big but keepers. i chose not to crowd them as it was a narrow gap they were anchored in and limited amount of water where the fish were at so i tried similar places but no luck. never made it to bridges or my brushpiles as i was worlds away from there on lake. did alot of exploring and sure found some dandy places to fish come spawn. water was from 46-49
degrees. only fished about 3-1/2 hrs.
