    Default Where to Try Saturday??????????

AccuWeather.com - Clarksville, VA Weather Details: Local Clarksville Weather Forecast

Bluestone and Buffalo will be boats wall to wall. Sandy might be a good place. I prefer upper Butchers and Rudds. Then there's Eastland. Fishdoc, you ever tried the back of Panhandle in the early spring?? Guess I'll keep an eye on the Buggs board and make a last minute decision as to where. Besides the highs look at the night time lowes.

Think I've got a game plan coming together. Launch at Rudds. Run down into Butchers stopping at a few brush piles which are near the side creeks mouths. Should be 20 to 22 fw. By 9:30 or 10 end up in the back of Panhandle. If nothing happening by 12:00 run back up to the back of Rudds and Butchers. Will have the camers.

Jim.B that is good advise and I already had planed to go to the back of at least two of the creeks on my way back up. That is if my camers arn't acting up.:D

Is anyone else going to be up at Buggs Saturday to pre-fish for the bash? I really thought Hog Choker and a few more would be there. Ranger or anyone have you run into Dave in the past few weeks while up there?

I'm actually going to be 177 miles SW of there in Troutman, NC picking up my new boat Saturday. It's but a mere 327 miles from home.

Tap if your not fishing I would guess that's the next best thing to be doing on a day like Sat. should be; picking up a new boat.

I did not know. Learn something every day. When you go into Panhandle you run stright on back then make a turn to the left and continue on. I alway thought it was still Panhandle all the way back. Wrong. Just now looking at the Buggs map see that when you make the left turn you are leaving Panhandle and going into (I don't want HC making any wise coments) Peckerwood Branch. It is Peckerwood I'm heading for tomorrow. Never seen that name on a post before either here or the Buggs board.
