(I don't want HC making any wise coments) Peckerwood Branch. It is Peckerwood I'm heading for tomorrow. Never seen that name on a post before either here or the Buggs board.

I did not know. Learn something every day. When you go into Panhandle you run stright on back then make a turn to the left and continue on. I alway thought it was still Panhandle all the way back. Wrong. Just now looking at the Buggs map see that when you make the left turn you are leaving Panhandle and going into (I don't want HC making any wise coments) Peckerwood Branch. It is Peckerwood I'm heading for tomorrow. Never seen that name on a post before either here or the Buggs board.

jim.b whetstone creek is not marked on my map. If you run back up in Peckerwood branch you come to two creeks coming in from both sides making like a tee. Is that whetstone. Houses on the creek to the right. Found a huge brush pile on the creek to the left.

OK you all tried to hank my chain but being a hard cord US Marine trained to not respond to chain jurkers I have kept silent until now. When I post a picture tomorrow night of a new world record Black Crappie that could eat Carl Herrings little one, bait size catch many years ago I'm predicting right now that it will say. Caught the sucker in Peckerhead cove off Peckerwood Branch, just north of Pandhandle creek. I'm not going to tell a sole where that is.
