Thread: muddy N/W

because of bad weather forcast for sunday decided to fish close to home. took my brother in law today and would have gone to I/T but he does not a N/C permit so we went to MUDDY N/W instead started before the campground where i caught them last week but notta. we ran to the VA/NC line and thats where we caught some keepers. i lost count but i think we caught a total of 10 crappie with 5 keepers. not a good day at all. when we got back at the ramp a couple of other boats got the big old goose egg so i guess i can't complain. when the wind started to blow a gale we headed in. we only fished 4 hours. only caught one ringer. not here yet. oh yea fish caught on main points in 10 ft water fishing 6 ft deep. tite lines JIM.B

WTG Jim, at least you got out and from the sounds of it you did better than anyone else. I'm sure you know you can get a NC permit on line for $10. I hope to fish with you soon, have a good week.
