Thread: Chick Riva 1/24

Got a late start as I was waiting for the meds to kick in so the pain would go away and to see what the weather was going to do. I got on the water around 11am. Marked A LOT of shad. My rods were bouncing so much that it was hard to tell if I was getting a bite. I was using home poured curly tails and sliders from Monk. Got a few bites on my curly tails and caught one crappie on a slider. Put the boat back on the trailer about 1:30 pm.

Met my wife at home and we went to Beaverdam to walk the hiking trail. All in all it was a great day.

good deal Keith. They are alot of shad in there now.:D

We missed ya by 1 hour. We got a really late start. Glad you got out. Did your wife ask about me?:D

No but she was still laughing when I got home.:D Now I know why.

Yea, she was gigglin' pretty good. When you called and said you were off the water, she began singing "and this little piggy better go wee wee wee all the way home!".
