Thread: any one going in the morning before the front

high tide at 8:30 on the chick at the dam....winds and rain midday ....got an open seat ...

I thought about hitting the James early tomorrow. I did so many "honey do's" around the house today that I didn't get a chance to get the boat ready for the morning and I am no doubt going to be sitting on the sofa at 1pm for playoff football. So probably no fishing for me unless I get up very early and get things ready....doubt it.

Man I battled a new @#%Q@% door handle and locks on the front door today. What started as a simple job my wife was trying to do by herself end up with me spending about 2 hours on it. I think over time our door and the door frame have settled, expanded, etc and it made for a hard job. Not to mention whoever put the original hardware on the door sure didn't do a good job of putting things on straight. Frustrating.

We were gonna go out early tomorrow morning and be back by early afternoon, but Fletch wimped out on me and said he wanted to do yard work instead. So, guess we'll be here doing chores until football games. I am ready for some serious pullage!

well looks like the small window of fishing opportunity is gonna get passed on today....and winds for the next few.......guess I will tinker with the super sport today as car show season is nearing
