Our crew consisted of me, Pantspizzer, and my buddy David.
We caught some perch right off, then caught some crappie, then more perch
Brought home 45, with about a doz. being crappies. Perch were a 50-50 split between males and girls.
Perch were in 6 ft. of water and crappies at 10 to 12 FOW.
It's still a little early, will only get better over the next few weeks.
Mike, sorry you could only catch 6 fish today, maybe next time you'll use the proper color jigs
I was happy to see Greg, CrappieFarmer, Large Fatso, and Naval Angler, and Jim B.'s buddy with the home made boat.
A large time was had by all.

So we did end up with more than 30 fish. I knew that I caught at least 10.:D Proper jig color? The fish dont know I am color blind.Dave is a trip. I had a great time fishing with you two and hope to do it again. Next time can I use more that one Pole and would it be to much trouble for you to position the boat so my back is to the sun so I can see my cork without getting my eyes sunburned
It was nice to see some other C.comers on the water and catching fish.
Thanks again for the T-bars, Driftmaster T-bars that is, least any our fellow fisherfolk think that you would corrupt me by taking me to an establishment of carnal debachery.:D:D:D

Glad to hear you all had a good day. I take most put in at Waterlilly. Ten years or so ago we would put in off a ramp at a dead end road which was at the entrance road into a trailer camp ground. This was on pass the ramp at the bridge. Began hearing of vehicles being broke into and tires missing so we switch over to Waterlilly. Besides the no wake area being too long when you get to the mouth of the river I found running up along the south bank the water being alittle deeper there then anywhere else. How do you all get into the river off the intercoastal way? In April and May there is some mighty find bream fishing in that river.

Great job. When I get my new boat I'll have to try some of these areas.
