Default Great day on the Chick

The Chick river yielded another 15"incher and 3 fish that were 14.25, 14.50, and 14.65. All 4 were taken to adams sports store and weighted and measured. The weights were 1.69, 1.60, 1.58, 1.39.All 4 was relocated in my honey hole and are doing fine.I had a real good day to say the least. Found fish early but they would not bite. I located 3 or 4 good schools and planned to revisit them later in the day. The tide changed and started runnung out about 9:30, it was not until 1:15 that the bite started. I cought 48 crappie and 19 or so ring perch, also a few green carp and a few small cat fish. From 1:15 until the time I left at 4: pm the fish were biting very good. When I left they were still turned on. I almost called it a day around 1pm but decieded to stay and I'm glad I did.

Nice fish, cought on a jig.

Another good fish cought on a jig.

    Pertty good pirch.

two of the 4 big fish.

Vic, why didn't you speak to us as you left? I know why those other schools of fish would not bite. Will load the pics later.

We picked up the other thing that blew out of the boat.

    Nice job on the bigguns.
