Thread: I Town Today 1/23

First time there and busted it wide open. Thank You Hog choker for the info. I had a great time. Was nice to meet Panphysher and Navy Angler as well. I missed Big Fatty. Saw Him driving away from Choker but didn't know who He was until He left. I caught 40 crappie and brought home 21 and brought home 7 perch. I caught about 15 more that I threw back. Just too many fish to clean. Had My limit of Crappie in 2 hours and culled out for a couple more. Put in at Waterlily. It was a cold ride back to the ramp but was fun. That is a pretty place. Nice to know a place that does not muddy up when it rains a flood. gonna be back soon.CF

good job CF ...aint nuttin better than getting into them and able to do some creeling,,,,,,That sure is one good looking place to fish even completely frozen over..:D..I will definately try it again now that things are warming a bit and hopefully we wont get another one of those winter super chills on us again.......

I assume from your post that the water was clear? I went over to the NW River today and it was muddy as could be, at least around the ramp. I don't live far from IT and have never made a trip there. Think I need to add it to my list. Do you mind mentioning the depth you caught your fish?

We did. They followed us out but then we dont know where they went. Spoke to them just before we left and they said they were staying an hour or so longer.
