I read a suggestion to unplug your electrical to your trailer when launching and retrieving your boat. Curious to know if others do this. It makes sense and may extend the life of your bulbs.

tap take the lens cover off and then inside you will find a clear cover over the bulbs...apply some lubricant to the bulbs an reinsert then silicone the clear cover back on .....this is the only way to make them 100% waterproof and yes unplugging them will keep them from blowing as hot bulb cold water or any water for that matter isnt good.....led is the latest greatest thing though.......call where ya ordered your new boat and say just curious but dont all new trailers come with led??? and cut a deal from there you seem :to be very good at that......
I unplug mine just out of habit...
Led's will allow you to put in and out without messing with the plug. I had led's until my last trip, broke both trailor lights and have to replace them.
