I fished the river today and could not find the fish. I fished down river around docks and brush with slip corks and had very little luck. The fish were not there. I marked very few fish in areas that had plenty 10 days ago. I guess that's what I get for going on vacation last week. Water was fairly clear and temp was 44. That is 10 degrees cooler than before I went on vac. I did catch 4 nice fish but way off from what I have been catching. Oh well I'll try again tomorrow.
This was my best today, 12.50"

I have not figured out yet if it affects the fish but our barometer has been bouncing around like a yo yo. It was 30.30 the other day which is a bit high, then the next day I saw it at 29.40 which is waaaay low. Better luck next time.

Yeah, I think think the barometer yo yoing effects both fresh and saltwater fish somehow. I also think it effects deer and other wildlife. Wish I could figure it out.
well they have to go somewhere. could it be they have been driven down to the very bottom thus not showing up on sonar? just a thought
