Doodlum & I spent a cold but fun-filled day @ LCR today. Water was clear with temps from 48 to 54. Sky was clear with enough wind to blow the boat around when we couldn't find places to hide. Temps ranged from 30 at launch to a high of 43 (but we dressed well for the day.)
Fish were schooling and catchable at a range of depths (6' to 15') when we found them. MINNOWs or jigs tipped with genuine MINNOWs were the ticket.
A total of about 100 fish for the day, including 64 keeper size specks (only 49 actually kept because that's all that would fit in the bucket!) There were a couple of 13's and the largest was a sliver short of 14". All in all, a great day's fishing!

Looks like a great day!!
Looks a great day Corker, I really enjoy your pics.We did pretty good over hear on the eastern shore this weekend but we fished in the rain on Sat. like dummies.
Very nice. Thanks for the pics and report.
Life's too short to fish with dead minnows!
Always a good day when you get 2 limits.:D
Nice catch guys, sorry Fletch and I couldn't make it, but we chased the stripers in the bay instead. Hard to crappie fish right now when rock fishing is just starting to get good!:D
"Fletch had a catch of a lifetime and he was even standing up when he caught it!"
very nice
Nice fish. You guys are some tough ole birds. Does being old help with not getting cold. I mean, you extremity circulation might be so bad that the cold doesn't really get transfered around?
Keep on keeping on!
