Thread: report from chowan

    Default report from chowan

    Well I got out about 8:30am this morning on the crks of the chowan. had a tough day. caught 10 keepers all day. nothing like thanksgiving. small fish. 11" was large fish of the day. caught them on minners and jigs in 4 - 10'. lots of folks out today nobody doing very good.

    It will get better if the water ever straightens out. If You caught ten in water that looks like this soup down here, You done good. Look for improvements in catches as water improves. if it improves.CF

    At least you got out and the weather seemed nice outside from the vantage point of my office.

    I had a window seat (rare and highly coveted at work) for 25 years. Moved to a new organization to get a raise four years ago and went to the bottom of the window seat pecking order. I just got one back this year so I can at least see the sun during the winter.

    getting to go in all conditions is a good thing :D where is chowan?

    it starts at the Va/NC and flows into albamarle sound. Northeast NC
