Weather don't stop the Fellowship. There is Fellowship to be had. Gonna have a few hours of it tonight. An hour or more of it in the morning at BIBT. Then 3 minutes of it at weigh in.
So, if it truly is more about the fellowship, then come to Clarksville tonight and we will break bread, gossip, shoot pool, gossip. Then in the morning, we will eat, gossip and tell lies. Then each can choose to fish or go home.
Rex and I may not even launch the boat in the morning. When done at BIBT we may ride to Bobcats and shop.
Will anchor at a promising bridge pilling and drown a minnow.
So:
The mileage don't change, snow or shine.
The hours away from home/family dont change, snow or shine.
Group dinner will be had, snow or shine.
Hanging out at the minnow tub, snow or shine.
Cold rain makes the fishing way less fun. That is the only thing that changed.
So, to recap, if I choose to not come because of the weather, then it is really about the fishing, not the fellowship.
I got no problem with anyone doing what they want to do. This is kinda fun.
