Default 11/29 - Slow morning on the Chick

The fish weren't cooperating very well this morning. I only got 10 in the boat and lost a few nice ones at the boat. The fish were few and far between in the 11' to 13' range so I went out deeper in 20'. I was getting more bites here and some nice ones when two BIG pleasure boats came through. The wakes from those boats turned the bite completely off. I had more painting to do in my garage so I did not wait for the bite to turn back on. I just went home. The water temp was 50° this morning.

Nope; I'm just slow and have 1100 square feet of drywall to apply primer and paint to. It took 5 gallons of primer and will take about 3 gallons of paint.

I may put up some crappie wallpaper border

    though.:D

Once I get the cabinets and workbench installed, I will post more pictures of a really clean, very white garage. DonG will be proud of me.

18' to 20'. Just past the piers on the other side of the channel towards Graves Landing. I had my jigs 15' to 16' deep. They still preferred blue/chartreuse and watermelon/chartreuse sliders.
