Thread: Rudds boat ramp

I forgot to mention that when I was down there tuesday some knuckle head staked claim on my permanent boat trailer tag...they were kind enough to put my bolts back and hand tighten them..so the Question is what do I need to do now? I know I should report it but do I have to pay for another or will they replace it?

the state will issue you another one and has never given anything away plus extra five for going to dmv...........that really bites I hate a thief

Someone took mine a couple or three years ago. I got a permanant one then. I keep it in the truck now. I've been pulled for it. Showed it and was told to mount it. It is still in the truck.

thats actually improper display what an officer told me years ago and waited till I put it on right there ........just booger the bolts up and it will have to be cut off if ever needed to removed...............

I don't understand the logic at all.

The risk vs reward just does not justify it.

Yea, so you save $75 bucks for not having to pay for a permanent tag.

But......if the owner reports the plate as stolen and you get pulled over you are royally screwed when they run your tag #'s.

they (DMV) give you an option for trailer tags renew for 1 year or renew for 2 year or permanent being never pay for tags for said trailer again.....:D
