Thread: NW River Yellow Perch/ Crappie Bash - When?

Here is the poll for the NW River Bash, based on replies as to when might be better I have chosen the four Saturdays in February. They are: 02/06, 02/13, 02/20, and 02/27. The full moon for February is the 28th.

This will be a majority rule "single vote" poll, in the event that we end up with tie I will take the two most voted on dates and we will have a "tie-breaker" poll that will run from 01/01/10 to 01/15/10, that will give us enough time for the date to be finalized and for folks to start making plans.

In the past we have had this as a yellow perch/crappie bash. One pot for each species, single largest wins. I intend to keep that format. As usual participation is optional.

i have always thought that they bite was tailing off toward the end of Febuary. i voted for earlier.

I am thinking the whole perch thing got you excited :D:D:D I aint got a clue but will try and make it when the experts decide on when the mostest fishes are bestes

Thats what has got Me flustered CREX. I know that too but the dang full moon is at the end of the Month and the one in January is a week or so too early.!!!!!!!!!!CF

Nothing says we can't decide to have the bash earlier if conditions dictate that. It is hard to figure out a date for the best success at size and numbers this far out.
