Default Retired guys still at it

I wound up going to the Chick river today. The original plan was that we would go to BD as a group but that dident happen. I went to the chick, Corker went to LCR with his HS buddy and Doodlum wound up at LCR also. I had a real good day catching 62 crappie,1 green carp, 1 white perch, 1 stripper, 1 cat fish. The biggest crappie was 14.25". I had several between 11 " and 13.25". Most of the fish came on a Slab Buster, red & chartreuse. I had 4 rods set up with this combo, some were tipped with bait and some were as is. The bite was very good until 12:30. I had a limit by 12noon. I fished until 3:00. I'll try to post the photos I took.

These keeped me company all day

This is the slab buster I used.

    Cought a double.

Note the grass on the dock from high water from last weeks storm

This was a 14.25" fish, the biggest of the day

    Hey, I know that spot!:D

HamMan and dad will be out there tomorrow. I'm going to try Beaverdam since it is close. Probably try the Chick next weekend.

    Thumbs up

Those are nice fish anchorman...Looks like you had a great day..I really like the looks of the Slab Busters. I have some Bobby Garland Slab Slay'rs. I think they are about the same as the Slab Busters but have never caught a fish on one..How about a lesson or two?
